Celtic manager Deila keen to keep Man City’s Guidetti on a permanent basis

Celtic manager Ronny Deila has expressed his desire to sign Manchester City striker John Guidetti on a permanent basis. The Sweden international is currently on loan at the Scottish champions and has made a brilliant start to the season, scoring eight goals in as many games. And Deila has been so impressed with the 22-year-old that he admitted he would love to make him a permanent part of the set-up at Celtic Park.“When he came there was a question mark because he’d been out for a long time and he hadn’t played football regularly for two years,” said Deila.“It has been a fantastic relationship so far. He wants to improve and he knows he can improve more as well.“To improve he needs to play and here he gets the trust he needs. We hope we can keep him on a permanent basis.” 1 John Guidetti in action for Manchester City
